STAINLESS STEEL

Stainless steel jewelry is durable and resistant materials to tarnishing and corrosion that can withstand daily wear. It is waterproof and can be worn during swimming or bathing. Gold plated stainless steel jewelry has a thin layer of gold plating on top of the stainless steel base, while stainless steel jewelry is made entirely of stainless steel. It does not require as much maintenance as other metals, but it is still recommended to clean it regularly to keep it looking its best.

To clean stainless steel jewelry, use warm water and mild soap to gently wipe away dirt and grime. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as they can scratch or strip away the gold plating. After cleaning, dry the jewelry with a soft cloth and store it in a clean, dry place. You can store it in a jewelry box or a soft cloth pouch to protect it from scratches and other damage.

    STERLING SILVER

Sterling silver is a high-quality metal that is made up of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, while gold plated sterling silver has a thin layer of gold plating on top of the sterling silver base.

To protect its durability, it's important to store your sterling silver and gold plated sterling silver jewelry in a dry and cool place. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or harsh chemicals, such as perfumes or hairsprays, remove them when showering, bathing, or engaging in heavy exercise, particularly when swimming in the sea or a chlorinated swimming pool. When not in use, keep your jewelry in a jewelry box or a sealed plastic bag to protect it from the air.

To clean sterling silver and gold plated sterling silver jewelry, use a soft cloth and a specialized silver cleaning solution or a mixture of baking soda and water. Gently rub the cloth over the surface of the jewelry in a circular motion, being careful not to scratch the metal. Rinse the jewelry with water and dry it with a soft cloth.

For gold plated sterling silver jewelry, avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as they can scratch or strip away the gold plating.
